The Contact Print Collection is comprised of 171 photographs which may have originally been created as proofs, depicting locations in and around New Orleans, ca. 1909-1915. The collection's provenance is unknown, as is the name of the photographer (or photographers). The photographs depict Mississippi River scenes, private homes, public buildings and buildings being readied for demolition.
The prints are approximately 3.5" x 3.5".
Photographs from this collection have been featured in The Louisiana Division/City Archives Images of the Month June 1998, July 1998 and April 2002.
